Ekin-Su ‘feels pressure’ to prove to fans she hasn’t split from Davide

Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has admitted that she "feels pressure" to keep her fans updated on her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti, to avoid speculation that they've split.

The 28 year old star won the hearts of the nation on summer Love Island in 2022, as she and Davide, 28, ended up winning the show after dominating the public vote.

Soon after, they moved in together in London and, for the most part, they're often seen looking loved-up on social media.

However, the couple were rocked by scandal earlier this year, after Davide was accused of messaging two models behind Ekin-Su's back, when she was away for work.

But all seems to be back on track with Ekin-Su and Davide, who took a "make or break" trip to Amsterdam shortly after news of Davide's alleged messaging broke.

In a new interview, Ekin-Su, who boasts 3.2million followers on Instagram, admitted that she's "not an influencer" and "not good on social media" meaning she feels the pressure to post regular content.

She told The Sun: “Before I was on Love Island I would put an Instagram picture on there once a month. Now that I’m in the public eye, if I don’t change my profile picture people will think we have broken up or that something has happened, and it has not.

“Sometimes I feel the pressure from the fans and the public to show you are still together.

“I try to stay authentic to myself but it should be private. Love is linked to yourself — you have to love yourself to love someone else.”

Despite a rocky start to the year with Davide, Ekin Su said that she "can't imagine myself without him," as she went on to discuss their similarities, as they "like the same things" and even "argue in the same style".

Recently, former Love Islander Indiyah Polack leapt to Ekin-Su and Davide's defence as she insisted that they were "back on track".

She revealed that she and boyfriend Dami Hope – who also starred on Love Island in 2022 – had recently been round to Ekin-Su and Davide's London flat, as she Indiyah told The Sun that they were "doing really well".

Tellingly, Indiyah said "every couple has their ups and downs" but that her pals are "doing amazing".
