EastEnders fans ask if Lorraine Stanley is a twin after lookalike sister’s picture

EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley has wowed fans with her striking resemblance to her lookalike sister, with some people even confusing the pair for “twins.”
Lorraine, 44, who has played Karen Taylor in the BBC One soap since 2017, shared a sweet snap with her sister Donna, 40, on Instagram on Sunday.
While the pair were dressed in contrasting outfits, fans were quick to notice the similarities between the two as they posed with peace signs in the air at Lorraine's London home.
The actress, who recently debuted her hair transformation, looks completely different from her on-screen character as she sports loose blonde curls, pulled back with a black headband.
Lorraine, who has also given fans a glimpse into a typical day on the EastEnders set, captioned the post: “Skin and blister” which is cockney rhyming slang for ‘sister’ alongside three heart emojis and three peace sign emojis.
She donned a black shift dress which highlighted her shapely figure and paired the look with a set of fluffy black sliders.
Her sister Donna opted for a black and white spotted midi dress, styled with a denim jacket and a pair of white Converses to complete her summery look.

She tied her blonde locks up into a tight top knot bun as they both beamed to the camera.
It didn’t take long for fans to comment on their similar good looks, with some asking is they were twins instead of sisters.
One user wrote: “Wow, are you twins?” while another agreed: “Wow I thought there were 2 of you” with a heart emoji.
A third commented: “Spitting image of each other” while a fourth chimed: “Aww you look so alike” with a heart eyes emoji.
A final user joked: “Why does she look more like Karen Taylor than you do” with a cry laughing emoji and two heart emojis.
Following the sisterly snap, Lorraine took to her Instagram stories to document her and Donna's night out at the George of Harpenden pub in Hertfordshire.
She wrote atop of another snap “#sisters” with a heart emoji, as they enjoyed a drink outside in the beer garden.
Lorraine found fame after signing up to play Karen in the popular soap but this isn’t the first time she has appeared on the show, as she made a brief appearance as Mo Harris in a vintage flashback episode in 2004.
The special episode explored the feud between Pat Butcher, played by Pam St Clement, and Big Mo, played by Laila Morse.
