‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ investigated for assault after airport confrontation

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” is being investigated for simple assault after an altercation at the airport with hecklers was caught on tape.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Lee Chapman, and wife Beth Chapman, who is battling throat cancer again, had landed at a Colorado airport last Friday when he was recorded getting into a verbal spat with a man who claimed the reality star shoved his son.

According to the footage, obtained by The Blast, the man said, “You put your hands on my son,” while another hurls the N-word at Dog, while threatening to “beat your ass.” Another man, presumably the man’s son, also told Dog to “suck my d–k.”

Dog and Beth make their way onto an elevator with an airport handler to leave the scene, but eventually, Dog shouted, “Let’s go outside, brah.”

Following the incident, the father and son filed a police report of simple assault against the 65-year-old bounty hunter. No arrests have been made, but police are investigating.

Page Six has reached out to police and Dog’s attorney for comment.

Dog and Beth returned to Colorado to seek treatment options for her throat cancer, which has spread throughout her body.
