Coronation Street’s Julia Goulding reveals pregnancy as she debuts bump on red carpet
Coronation Street star Julia Goulding has unveiled a growing baby bump as she walked the red carpet at the 2022 British Soap Awards.
The actress who is best known for playing Shona Ramsay in the popular ITV soap looked to be glowing as she attended the star studded bash on 11 June.
Julia, 37, is already a mum to two year old, Franklin Wolf, who was born in November 2019, just before the pandemic.
At the time of his birth, Julia revealed that both she and her husband Ben Silver felt Franklin had "changed their lives forever”
Tonight’s appearance marks the first time the star has publicly addressed the news of her second pregnancy as she smiled for the cameras on the red carpet.
To mark tonight’s star studded occasion, Julia opted for a black and sheer zebra print dress that perfectly accentuated her growing bump.
The figure hugging dress featured long sleeves and an off the shoulder design that showcased the actresses’ collarbones.
Wearing her hair up in an elegant undo, two tendrils of glistening brown hair framed the star’s face as she smiled for the cameras.
Julia then completed her look with a slick of red lipstick and matching nails in a similar vivid red hue.
Alongside a number of colleagues from the show, Julia is at the awards in the hope that Coronation Street can continue its winning streak and bring home the coveted Best Soap award.
Julia has been an integral part of the show since arriving on our screens back in 2016 where she quickly became a fan favourite, before winning the coveted Best Newcomer Award at the Inside Soap Awards in 2017.
An integral member of the Corrie cast, Julia has seen her character Shona involved in a number of high profile storylines, including her introduction to the soap, where she revealed to be the mum of Kylie’s killer Clayton.
Yet despite this, Shona and David Platt, played by Jack P Shepherd managed to prove that star crossed lovers do exist, with the pair fast becoming one of the most loved couples on the cobbles.
