A fifth penned: “Have pre ordered your book and really looking forward to reading it.”

“Brilliant look forward to reading your book when it is released, and seeing you on Facebook,” someone else commented.

The book, which Carol describes as a “glamorous, romantic and escapist” read for summer 2021, is one of two novels she signed a deal for with publisher HarperCollins.

The popular weather presenter said ahead of the release of her book: “I am delighted to be working with HarperCollins.

“They are such an enthusiastic, professional and fun publisher who have made me feel at home right from the start.

“This is my first foray into writing and I could not wish for a better partnership and look forward to it being a lasting one!”

She thanked literary producer and agent Kerr MacRae for his “unwavering belief and confidence” in her abilities, as she described her love for books.

“I love how books transport you to a different life and world, through the use of language and one’s own imagination,” she explained.

“I can’t wait… as we all know, an unleashed imagination has no limitations!”
