Camilla’s special Coronation plan for grandchildren after Archie and Lilibet ‘snub’
King Charles III's Coronation is fastly approaching with it taking place this May at Westminster Abbey, and it is believed Queen Consort Camilla has a special role in mind for her grandchildren during the ceremony.
It has been reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children Archie, three, and Lilibet, 21 months, won't be attending the ceremony on May 6 as they are thought to have been deemed "too young" to attend.
But a source has said the Queen Consort's remaining grandchildren could have an official role on the day, by carrying the canopy that is placed over her as she is anointed.
Camilla, 75, is grandmother to her son Tom Parker Bowles' two children, Lola, 15 and Frederick, 13, and her daughter Laura Lopes' 13-year-old twins Gus and Louis and daughter Eliza, 15.
It is not yet known whether Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, will be attending the Coronation, but a spokesperson for the couple confirmed that they have been invited.
A source previously told the MailOnline: "They [Meghan and Harry] will be given the cold shoulder by very many relatives. One said to me, 'I hope they'll be seated in Iceland.'
"Many of the family just want nothing more to do with them. If they have to see them at the Coronation then so be it, but they do not want to socialise with them."

The Coronation falls on Archie's fourth birthday, and a source previously told OK!Harry and Meghan are said to be keen to attend the coronation as it is a key milestone for the family.
"Archie’s birthday falls on May 6th, coronation day and the Sussexes want the family to recognise that,” the source said.
“The Sussexes have asked for some kind of celebration or acknowledgement to be factored into the day’s plans to ensure that his fourth birthday won’t get lost during the momentous day.”
They claim that Harry and Meghan have asked to stay at Frogmore Cottage with Princess Eugenie after being evicted – instead of making use of an apartment at Buckingham Palace.
The source shared: "They want their children to spend time with other family members, especially their cousin August who is around about the same age as Lilibet.
"Both couples get on extremely well and are keen for their children to be close."
Harry and Meghan were evicted from Frogmore Cottage to make way for Prince Andrew, 63, but it is believed his daughter Eugenie, 32, and Jack Brooksbank, 36, have taken residence in the house in Windsor.
"The Sussexes are disappointed by the move but couldn’t be happier that Eugenie and Jack will take it over. They have been staying there on and off for the past few years anyway,” the source said.
