Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Granted Restraining Order After Jason Alexander Crashed Their Wedding

AceShowbizBritney Spears and Sam Asghari can now breathe a sigh of relief. The newly-wed couple has been granted a restraining order against Jason Alexander after he crashed their wedding on Thursday, June 9.

Revealing the news was Britney’s attorney, Matthew Rosengart. Matthew said in a statement to Page Six. “Fortunately, Alexander is incarcerated and under an emergency protective order.”

“I want to thank Sergeant Cyrus Zadeh, Detective Ken Michaelson and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office for their prompt and good work and look forward to working with law enforcement to ensure Alexander is aggressively prosecuted and hopefully convicted, as he should be,” the lawyer added.

“This was an outrageous security breach, which I am livid about,” the former federal prosecutor continued. “But fortunately Britney is safe, and she was a stunning and happy bride.”

Jason, who was married to Britney for 55 hours in 2004, showed up at her mansion in Thousand Oaks, California as final preparations for her wedding were underway. “Hey, where’s Britney at?” he asked an armed security guard on the second floor of the multimillion-dollar home while going live on Instagram.

Jason then went outside to the backyard and into the tent where the “bulls**t wedding” was set to take place. He introduced himself to multiple people as Britney’s “first husband” and claimed the “Baby One More Time” singer had “invited” him.

“I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding!” Jason exclaimed. He’s also seen entering the wedding tent where planners were busy adding finishing flourishes to the venue.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department raced to the scene after answering a trespassing call, with three police cars arriving at the singer’s home just after 2.30 P.M. alongside a fire truck.

Despite the trespassing drama, Britney and Sam managed to go on with their “fairy tale” wedding. Among those in attendance were Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Maria Menounos, Madonna, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.
