Billie Eilish Reveals Favorite Christmas Songs

Billie Eilish revealed her list of favorite Christmas tracks during The Holiday Edition radio special on Apple Music on Friday (December 11).

Frank Sinatra‘s rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” tops Eilish’s list.

“I really had to force myself not to make every single song in this playlist Frank Sinatra,” she said. “And even though I tried, let’s see how many are Frank Sinatra in here. N ot too many, but more than any of the other ones. At first, I had like 20 as Frank Sinatra and like six as other people.”

Eilish added that Frank Sinatra is one of her all time favorite artists, saying, “His voice is just magic to me and always reminds me of Christmas.”

Eilish, who revealed her preference for older holiday songs over new ones, said she also likes Eartha Kitt‘s “Santa Baby.”

“I just really have a feeling of loving the classics, and the old ones. Not, I don’t know. It doesn’t really…I’m not opposed. For me, I just, if I’m having a Christmas dinner or whatever, even though we can’t have those this year, and I’m making a playlist, whatever, it’s always classics and old songs,” she added.

With regard to new Christmas songs, Eilish said her brother Finneas‘ “Another Year” is “so beautiful” and added, “The lyrics are so perfect. I think it’s such a well said thing. I remember the first time he played it for me and I was like, that’s cute. Pay attention to the lyrics, in the first half especially. But the whole song, he is a genius lyricist.”
