Selena Gomez brought her electrifying power to the American Music Awards on Sunday night, and her manicure was no exception. The 27-year-old “Lose You to Love Me” singer returned to the show after a two-year hiatus and shone all the way down the red carpet. If her lime-green minidress didn’t snag your attention at first glance, then her eye-catching chrome nails surely will.

Gomez’s nail artist, Tom Bachik, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the singer’s manicure shortly after she showed up for the event. On Instagram, Bachik revealed he used OPI’s Baby Take a Vow polish ($11), then added “a bit of iridescent shimmer” with OPI’s Chrome Effects in Pay Me in Rubies ($10) and a no-wipe topcoat. “Finish the look with an artsy Swarovski crescendo of sparkle and make your way to main stage!” Bachik wrote on Instagram. Well, we certainly can’t wait to see Gomez’s nails sparkle and shine when she opens the show.
