Piers Morgan shares first pic of Susanna Reid on the set of The Chase and says it’s a lot harder than it looks on TV

PIERS Morgan shared a snap of Susanna Reid on the set of The Chase – and admitted it’s a lot harder than it looks on TV.

The 54-year-old hinted that their Good Morning Britain team may have struggled when they faced the Chasers for a celebrity special.

But fans will have to wait until November to find out how they fared.

Piers revealed on Twitter: "Just finished taping @ITVChase with my @GMB colleagues @susannareid100 @kategarraway @RichardAArnold.

"Wow.. to say it’s a lot easier watching at home is the understatement of the century. Great fun though. Airs in the autumn.."

He shared a snap of Susanna beaming with presenter Bradley Walsh.

But in a conversation with his colleague Ranvir Singh, Piers hinted that he may not have been victorious on The Chase.

Ranvir said: "God I get cold sweats thinking of when I was on @ITVChase.

" The pressure makes your brain turn to jelly! I’m sure the team did brilliantly ?!"

The GMB host replied: "Our lips are sealed until November… but let’s just say I can identify with your experience!"

Susanna said: "Had fun doing The Chase on Team GMB with this legend at the helm. Comes out in November."

It's not yet know which Chaser the feisty duo went up against.

Before they headed to film the one-off special, Piers admitted having a restless night's sleep.

He said: “We’re all a bit worried because we all began to watch it a few days ago and we can’t get any of the questions right.”

The Chase first launched on ITV in 2009.

Since then the team have filmed more than 1,000 episodes and at least 100 celebrity editions.
