But Old Wife, New Wife takes things to a new level by having participants live with their ex and their new partner. Here's all you need to know about the new show…

What is Old Wife, New Wife about?

Old Wife New Wife is a reality show which sees former partners move in with their ex and their new partner.

The observational documentary sees the group live together for a week, with the hopes of healing old wounds and moving forward as friends.

At the start of the process, they write a list of what they wish to achieve.

Then at the end, they all sign a mediation document – with the hope that they have resolved past issues and have come to a new understanding which they will stick to.

When does Old Wife, New Wife start on Channel 5?

Old Wife New Wife airs at 9pm on TONIGHT (April 24) on Channel 5.

The first episode follows former couple Cyren and Laura, and his new partner Meaghan.

Cyren walked out on Laura, a year ago after cheating on her.

He says he is so desperate to see his three-year-old boy Leo that he is willing to try out the experiment.

But Laura isn't as keen to have Cyren  back in their lives.

She claims he let their son down by not turning up at agreed times and not paying towards his keep.
