Gemma Collins looks unrecognisable as she shares throwback swimsuit picture and reflects on being a body confident teen

GEMMA Collins looks unrecognisable in a series of throwback pictures she shared on Instagram this evening.

In the shots, the 38-year-old – who reminisced about being a body confident teenager – could be seen posing away on a yacht.

Looking a far cry from the diva she is today, Gemma showed off a more natural look – complete with pre dyed hair.

Reflecting on her appearance, she told her followers:  “Spending the evening looking at old pics …. I never grew up body conscious it wasn’t a thing when I was younger I was just young free and me.

“Instagram is way too exposed now for young members who are on here …. they do have pressure and it’s just so nice to look back on this picture and not have had any of that pressure growing up.

“I was just a happy teenager with no body hang ups or pressure”

The Towie star went on to say how she felt people were sharing too much online and she’s concerned about the impact it will have on  a younger generation.

She said:  “I think it’s so important for our younger generation to be body confident and free – also the way people expose themselves now days on the gram is way too much,  nothing is held back anymore,  everything on show nothing is left to the imagination, it is way too much …. younger ones are watching.”

Her post comes after she told us she is truly happy the way she is after shedding three stone.

“I am not obsessed with being thin,” she admitted.

“I really do love myself as I am. I don’t have body issues or hang ups.

“People would pay thousands to have a butt like mine. I have got the perfect butt. It's the best in the world. It is up and it’s big.”
