Coronation Street fans notice awkward Seb blunder as he calls Kevin Webster Dev

The pair were chatting with Roy Cropper when the actor who plays Seb, Harry Visinoni, seemingly made the mistake.

In the scene, Seb is asking cafe owner Roy if he had any jobs going.

When Kevin chipped in and asked the teen if he would be able to work the coffee machine, Seb replied: "What about you, Dev?

"Have you got anything going?"

Undeterred by the blunder, Kevin replied: "Oh no, we are not hiring at the minute" before leaving the eatery.

Dev Alahan is another Weatherfield character, played by Jimmi Harkishin, but he was not a part of the conversation.

Attentive viewers at home picked up on the blunder, with one sharing a clip of the conversation to Twitter alongside the caption: "When Seb calls Kev Dev by mistake."

Another added: "He just called him Dev, not Kev" alongside the crying with laughter emoji.

Seb was introduced to the ITV soap in 2016 as Faye Windass’ good-for-nothing boyfriend.

It was later revealed that he is the son of recovering drug addict Abi Franklin, and also suffered domestic abuse at home.

Most recently, Corrie viewers were left heartbroken when Seb's bid to win custody of his twin siblings, Charlie and Lexi, was rejected – with the tots instead remaining in care.

In 2017, it was revealed that the young character is HIV positive.
