Avengers Endgame: NO end credits scene BUT fans must stay for THIS

Extra scenes have become a Marvel trademark.  Surely the final movie in the entire Avengers saga would have at least one mid or post-credits moment to please fans? Surprisingly, the directors, Joe and Anthony Risso, openly revealed they hadn’t wanted one in Infinity War but bowed to pressure. This time around, they goy their way and Avengers 4 catagorically has no actual scenes once the credits start rolling. But that does not mean fans can dash for the exits (or the bathrooms).

Clearly, the Russos feel they have shown everything they need to on screen, although fans would probably happily sit through another three hours if given the chance.

Instead, the credits show a gallery of images of the huge cast. This ends with a magnificent curtain call for the main core group of heroes.

It is a spine-tingling experience no fans will want to miss. A final chance to say goodbye to the original Avengers.

But there is still one more special (and heartbreaking) moment to savour.

At the very end, just as the screen goes black, there is a haunting moment to pay tribute to the many who were lost.

The faint sound of a tolling bell can be heard, marking their deaths.

After the intense emotional ride and terrible loss of two of the Avengers biggest heroes, it is a beautiful final touch.

AVENGERS ENDGAME PLOT HOLE – THIS MAJOR DEATH JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

Combined with the final appearance of Stan Lee (as a 1970s playboy racer), it is an emotional end of an era.

Fans can take comfort, though, in the increasing likelihood that Thor will now move into the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, while another Guardian somehow made a miraculous return. Meanwhile, another fallen hero will also return in a standalone movie.

With Marvel, fans know by now that all hope is never lost…
