Vasyl Lomachenko sports cast on broken hand he suffered from knockout blow on Anthony Crolla

VASYL LOMACHENKO has been seen with his right hand in a cast following his fight against Anthony Crolla.

The Ukrainian WBA and WBO lightweight champ put on a fantastic performance in an extremely one-sided fight against the brave Brit in Los Angeles on Friday.

Ruthless Lomachenko, 31, won after a four round demolition of former WBA champ Crolla, 32.

He finished the bout with a precisely placed right hook dropping the Manchester fighter's face on the canvas.

However, the clash should have been stopped after the third when Crolla absorbed an avalanche of unanswered punches.

The Brit has admitted his brutal beating made him consider hanging up his gloves.

But Loma's savagery turned out to be a double-edged sword as he later revealed he had broken his right hand while landing the knockout blow.

The Ukrainian had to keep his hand in ice water after the bout and was pictured wearing a cast on his broken fist.

He told Sky Sports: "Yeah, it was last punch, right hook and I broke my hand, I don’t like it because every fight I had a problem, shoulder or my hand, but it’s a big sport.

Speaking of his next fight Loma discussed a possibility of visiting the UK to fight Luke Campbell – which could set up a fight between two Olympic gold medallists.

Lomachenko added: "Of course for me more interesting [would be] Mikey Garcia, but if Garcia can’t cut weight, maybe it would be Luke Campbell.

"Maybe we can organise the fight in the UK. Maybe I come to [the] UK [and] unify titles."
