Stephen Curry, James Harden go down in Warriors-Rockets chaos

The Golden State Warriors were in a state of panic.

There was Stephen Curry, letting out an audible “f–k” and holding his left middle finger, grimacing in pain as he made his way to the sidelines midway through the first quarter of Game 2 against the Houston Rockets.

Minutes later, he was back, the Warriors’ title defense back on.

The official diagnosis, according to TNT, is a dislocated finger. It was reportedly popped back in as X-rays administered at Oracle Arena came out negative. Curry seemed to have suffered the gruesome injury while going for a block on the Rockets’ Clint Capela.

The Rockets weren’t unscathed, for only moments later, superstar James Harden left for the locker room with an ice pack covering his left eye after taking a shot to the face. TNT reported Harden suffered an lacerated left eyelid, but he returned midway through the second quarter.

Houston fans are still holding their breaths, their team down 1-0 in the series.
