Sarri to tell Chelsea he will snub Juventus and stay if given assurances over his future and being allowed to play Sarri-ball

MAURIZIO SARRI is prepared to snub a move to Juventus if Chelsea provide him with the assurances he wants next season.

The Italian is willing to remain at Stamford Bridge but is insisting the club back his tactics and man-management style, report The Times.

Sarri is heavy favourite to take the vacant job at the Old Lady.

The 60-year-old has been heavily criticised by supporters throughout the season but is starting to win over fans after a third place finish and a Europa League trophy.

His treatment over Callum Hudson-Odoi and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek while Sarri's persistence with Mateo Kovacic in midfield frustrated supporters.

Chelsea chief Bruce Buck held talks with Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli in Baku before the Europa League final to discuss Sarri's future.

He has just one-year remaining on his current deal and Juve are willing to fork out the £5million required to pay off his contract.

Sarri will hold talks with the club director Marina Granovskaia over the next couple of days which will ultimately decide where his future lies.

His future at Chelsea could also depend on the club's impending transfer ban from Fifa.

The Blues face not being able to sign a player for the next two transfer windows although it could be overturned this summer following an appeal.

They will also lose star man Eden Hazard who was instrumental to their success this season.

The Belgium said his goodbyes after the 4-1 win on Wednesday and is on the brink of joining Real Madrid in a deal worth around £100m.
