Ancelotti warns new Man Utd boss Solskjaer that £130m-rated Koulibaly is not for sale

MANCHESTER UNITED have been dealt a transfer blow after Carlo Ancelotti insisted Napoli will not be forced into selling Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.

The £130million-rated defender has been tipped for a big money move after becoming one of the world’s leading centre-backs.

United have been keeping tabs for some time after their defensive frailties earlier this season.

While Serie A rivals Juventus are also said to be monitoring the situation.

Real Madrid are another superpower interested in securing Koulibaly’s services.

But despite suffering racist abuse, the Senegal international has always maintained he wants to remain in Naples.

And now boss Ancelotti has come forward to let interested parties know exactly where Napoli stand.

He said: “Napoli will not be forced to sell. Koulibaly will not leave here.”

Whether that deals a blow to newly-appointed United gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains to be seen.

He has managed to get the best out of Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly, while Chris Smalling and Phil Jones have recently signed new long-term contracts.
