A bride has made headlines for asking 34 bridesmaids to be in her Florida wedding party, as she confessed to having too many amazing women in her life to choose between.

For the wedding, she decided to ask 34 of her closest friends and family to join her on her special day as bridesmaids.

‘I have so many women in my life who mean so much to me,’ Carter told Inside Edition.
Carter, who works as an entertainer and singer, had close friends from school and work, all of whom she wanted to be there for her on the special day.
The bridesmaid count only further increased because Carter also has six sisters.
‘There are so many women I have met on the journey,’ she said. ‘Why not let them be part of my life?’
Originally Carter wanted to have 50 bridesmaids in her wedding instead of 34, but there were some women who were unable to make it and others who had Army deployment.
Last year, Carter met her husband at Thanksgiving, and he reportedly proposed shortly after they first started dating.
They were only engaged for about three months before officially tying the knot in June.
In an interview with CNN, Carter revealed how her husband thought she was joking when she first approached him about having that many women stand up for her on their wedding day.
‘He thought I was joking but then he was like, “If anybody can do it.” He knows how I am and how many women are around me,’ Carter said.
But then his next concern was if he was expected to have the same amount of groomsmen to make the wedding party even.
‘You don’t expect me to have that many groomsmen,’ Carter revealed he asked her. She let him off the hook for that one.
Carter’s only request for her 34 bridesmaids was for them to find Earth-toned dresses to wear for the beach ceremony; otherwise it was totally up to them on the style and cut.
‘Everything about this wedding was different,’ Carter said. ‘It was so amazing to have them all right beside me.’
