A one-year-old internet sensation with an incredible mane of hair has been signed by Pantene as one of the faces of the brand in Japan.

Instagram starlett Baby Chanco has stunned social media users over the last six months as her mother uploads images of her incredible, thick hair. 

Baby Chanco, who lives in Japan, was born with a full head of hair in December 2017 and it has continued to sprout as she has grown. 

Chanco’s mother updates her 300,000 followers on the platform with weekly photos of the little girl’s full bouffant. 

Every photo shared of Chanco receives in and around 10,000 likes from her adoring fans. 

Baby Chanco made her hair-raising debut to the world with presenter Sato Kondo and the adorable Japanese baby girl and her impressive mane became even more famous 

 Baby Chanco was seen in an article by a P&G boss who immediately decided to put the child on a Pantene advert

Chanco’s followers have described her as a ‘beautiful’ and ‘adorable baby’ online 

The baby has amassed more than 300,000 followers on Instagram since the first photo of her full, dark hair was posted by her mother

Baby Chanco has only been on Instagram for eight months but has wowed the internet with her hair

Chanco was born in December 2017 and already had a whole head of sleek black hair 

Now, she features in the shampoo adverts alongside gray-haired Japanese TV announcer Sato Kondo.

The first image was released in the company’s ‘#HairWeGo My Hair Moves Me Forward’ campaign in the Japanese national newspaper Asahi Shimbun on January 7. 

Alex Keith, president of global hair care and beauty sector at P&G reportedly stumbled across an article about the baby and said: ‘Get this kid a Pantene ad!’. 

hair care associate brand director Yoshiaki Okura told Huffington Post: ‘Chanco’s personality and special character matches our image for women we want to support.’ 

Thanks to her luscious locks Chanco’s mother is able to adorn her daughter’s hair with an array of hair accessories including bobbles, clips and ribbons

She is often pictured lying down on a bed and playing with some kind of toy or accessory
