Asda is selling spooky pumpkin-shaped pizzas for Halloween – The Sun

ASDA’S spooky Halloween pizzas come in five different flavours – and they're all only £3 in store.

The flavours on offer are Cheese Meltdown, Pepperoni Feast, The Sizzler, Veggie Supreme and Meat Feast.

The Cheese Meltdown is a classic base of tomato sauce and mozzarella, while the Veggie Supreme is topped with red onions, sweetcorn, mushrooms and peppers.

And, for the meat eaters, there is the Pepperoni Feast; a classic base with pepperoni; The Sizzler, topped with spicy chilli beef, kickin' chicken, pepperoni and jalapenos; and the Meat Feast, made with spicy chilli beef, smoked ham and pepperoni.

If you don't like any of these toppings you're out of luck as the pumpkin-shaped base is not available as part of Asda's Make Your Own offer at its pizza counters.

But, some stores have been spotted selling other flavours in this jack o'lantern shape.

Instagram user @Newfoodsuk spotted their local store selling a Smoky Joe Halloween Pizza – a discontinued flavour made with BBQ sauce, two cheeses, spicy beef, red onions and diced chorizo.

Although a spokesperson for Asda confirmed that this flavour was not part of the Halloween range and was likely created by a store with leftover ingredients.

You can get your hands on one of the new pizzas at any of Asda’s fresh pizza counters available at 463 of its 639 stores – however, they aren't currently available online.

All the flavours for the Halloween pizzas are taken from existing pizzas in Asda's freshly made range – the only difference is the pumpkin-shaped base.

And, when it comes to price, the spookier pumpkin-shaped option is slightly more expensive than Asda's other pizzas.

A 10-inch version of any of the five flavours costs 40p less at £2.60 compared to £3 for the Halloween pizzas.

But, for those extra pennies you do get a far spookier dinner, which is perfect for Halloween fun.

You can find your nearest Asda store using the store locator tool.

Asda is also selling a rotating Halloween light projector to get you in the mood for trick or treating.
