Hilaria Baldwin Suffers Second Miscarriage In A Year: ‘This Baby Isn’t Going To Come After AllR
Such sad and unfortunate news for Hilaria Baldwin, who shared she tragically suffered another miscarriage — her second one this year.
The 35-year-old revealed the heartbreaking update online on Monday, shortly after a scheduled 20-week check-up with doctors where she unexpectedly learned her baby had not survived.
The mother-of-four posted an emotional video message intended for her husband, Alec Baldwin, on Instagram which doubled as an official announcement to fans.
Alongside the clip which features her six-year-old daughter Carmen, Baldwin wrote:
“We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months. We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be. We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies—and we will never lose sight of this. I told Carmen and took this so I could send it to Alec. I guess this is a good way to share it with you too. I told her that this baby isn’t going to come after all…but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time. I’m really devastated right now…I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don’t know what else to say…I’m still in shock and don’t have this all quite clear. Please no paparazzi…that’s all I ask ❤️”

Hilaria and Alec first shared they were expecting back in September after suffering a previous miscarriage in April. As the matriarch mentioned (above), she and her family were hopeful to add another little girl to their brood, which includes Carmen and sons Romeo Alejandro David, 17 months, Leonardo Ángel Charles, three, and Rafael Thomas, four.
The Mom Brain podcast host also opened up about the tragedy on her Instagram Story where she hinted at the dilation and curettage procedure she’ll be undergoing on Tuesday, captioning her post:
“Today didn’t go as planned. I’m very sad. Tonight is my last night with her…such a strange experience.”
The fitness guru has been transparent with her followers about the struggles to conceive a full-term pregnancy from the very beginning, despite warnings from critics on the internet about sharing her delicate news too early. Back in April, she told People:
“I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss. I think it’s important to show the truth because my job is to help people by being real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience. I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it.”
In another follow-up message, Baldwin continued to express her unimaginable grief:
In the wake of the sad loss, Hailey Bieber was one of the first to share loving words of support on her aunt’s IG reveal. The model, who is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, penned:
“I’m so sorry. Love you guys”
