Gemma Collins calls Arg her knight in shining armour after DOI disaster

Gemma Collins has called James Argent her "knight in shining armour" for helping her to get back on her feet after her Dancing On Ice fall.

The Towie star, 38, says she wouldn’t have been able to continue without the love and support of her man.

She was left in a wheelchair after falling flat on her face last Sunday, but she was back on the ice tonight and made it through to next week’s show.

Gemma has now thanked Arg for everything he did to look after her while she was incapacitated.

In a post on Instagram tonight, she wrote: "My knight in shinning armour…  @real_arg  I don’t know what I’d do without his love & support!!"

She went on to thank fans for voting her through to the next round of the skating competition – and explain why she looked so wobbly on the ice.

Gemma added: "Thanks for everyone that voted for me tonight. To have the public behind me means the world to me.

"My performance wasn’t up to scratch, Last week’s fall knocked my confidence but I promise to be back next week & better then ever, GC style!!!!️

"Can’t believe me and  @themattevers  have made it past the half way point, THANK YOU!!!"

Arg also took to Instagram to praise Gemma for getting back onto the ice after her fall.

He wrote: "I can’t believe they’ve made it over the half way point, @gemmacollins1is so lucky to have the nation behind her & everyone voting for h

"She wasn’t her best tonight because she was absolutely petrified after last weeks fall & the nerves got the better of her!

"She will be back next week in full GC mode with her confidence back!!! #WatchThisSpace."
