Kylie Jenner Just Put the Kylie Cosmetics Lipstick Named After Jordyn Woods on Sale
Kylie Jenner hasn’t publicly responded to the allegations that her best friend Jordyn Woods hooked up with Tristan Thompson, her sister Khloé Kardashian’s boyfriend and father to her first child True. But the makeup mogul might have just hinted at the drama through her brand Kylie Cosmetics: today, the Lip Kit named after Woods, Jordy, went on sale for half the price.
The raspberry red Lip Kit shade was originally launched back in May of last year. It was the first Kylie Cosmetics product done in collaboration with Woods. In September, the besties released a full collaboration line, including an eyeshadow palette, highlighters, and lip products. All are still available on the Kylie Cosmetics web site, and none are currently on sale.
“Jordyn and I have had a true unmatchable relationship and I consider her family,” Jenner wrote at the time of the Kylie x Jordyn launch. “She’s helped me remain me throughout all these years and this is the first time we have collaborated on such a project! It has been so much fun and I’ll cherish the memories forever!”
The Jordy Lip Kit was originally priced at $27—but it just went on sale for $13.50, a whole dollar cheaper than any other Lip Kit on the site. It’s also one of two velvet formulas on sale (there are pricier matte and gloss formulas on sale, too).
It’s unclear if the new price is a response to all the drama that first came to light on Tuesday. Kardashian broke off her relationship with Thompson as a result of the cheating allegations, and US Weekly has confirmed that Woods packed up and moved out of Jenner’s home. The outlet is also reporting that Kardashian was the one who first told Jenner about the alleged cheating at Thompson’s house party over the holiday weekend.
