York police release video of suspects opening fire on Markham home
York Regional Police have released surveillance video that appears to show a brazen early morning shooting at a Markham home.
Police said a vehicle with at least three men pulled up in front of a home on Macklin Street, in the area of McCowan Road and Highglen Avenue on Thursday, just after 7 a.m.
In the video, it appears one suspect exits the vehicle and begins to shoot into the residence and a second suspect fires from inside the vehicle before it flees the scene.
Police said no one was injured but they do believe the incident was targeted.
Investigators are appealing to the public for help in identifying any of the suspects involved.
It was the second surveillance video released by York police this week of an early morning shooting.
On Wednesday, video released appeared to show a suspect approaching a home in Vaughan and opening fire just after 1 a.m. The video shows the suspect fleeing the scene in a four-door sedan.
There is no word as to whether the two incidents are connected.
