Who is Felicity Shadbolt and when he did go missing?

Mum of two Felicity Shadbolt disappeared after going on an afternoon walk in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

The 36-year-old was last seen at around 11.30am on Sunday, January 14 on Mount Nameless, near Karijini National Park.

Police said she regularly walks in the area.

The mum of two young daughters is described as being 150-155cm tall, of slim build, and has blonde hair which is braided in two ponytails.

She was wearing blue pants and a black t-shirt, and is in possession of a bright light blue CamelBak hydration pack.

On the day of her disappearance temperatures reached more than 37 degrees.

Why was the search suspended?

Thunderstorms and lightning put an end the search the day after her disappearance, police reported.

A helicopter had earlier searched from the air with the help of four riders on horseback to sweep the area.

Police and volunteers will re-commence the search at 5am on Tuesday, January 15.
