A HUSBAND has been charged with killing his mum-of-two wife who was discovered dead at her family home.
Sian Hammond, 46, died at the house she shared with Robert Hammond, 47, and their two teen daughters in Histon, Cambridge.
He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with murder.
The financial expert spoke only to confirm his name, address and age during the brief hearing.
Hammond was remanded into custody to next appear at Cambridge Crown Court on December 11.
Police were scrambled to the large detached home on October 30 following the horror.

Tributes have flooded in for the "beloved" mortgage broker, who graduated with a BSc Honours degree in biochemistry.
Lime Tree Financial Services, where Sian was Principal and Director, said she was a "friend to many".
The company added: “Everyone that knew her would agree Sian was one of the friendliest people you could have the pleasure of meeting, and she will be sorely missed by many.
“Please bear with us whilst our team comes to terms with this terrible loss, we will keep everyone updated with the funeral arrangements.”
