Singletons in ugly wrestling match at wedding as they both catch bride’s bouquet

An ugly brawl broke out between two wedding guests as they fought over the bride’s bouquet.

The women were filmed wrestling on the floor as they both refused to let go of the bunch of flowers , which they appeared to have grabbed at the same time.

The women were sprawled on the marble floor during the battle which saw most of the flowers ripped from it.

The pair of desperate singletons ended up without shoes as they fought for their chance to be the next to marry.

In some cultures the bride’s bouquet is thrown over her shoulder towards any woman hoping to be the next to walk down the aisle to wedded bliss.

The wedding wrestling bout was at the nuptials of a North Causcaus couple in Russia, where there is no tradition of brides throwing their bouquet, reports say.

Petals from the flowers were seen scattered over the floor as the women for the bouquet.

After the fight was over the pair glared at each other as family and friends tried to pull the rowing pair apart.

The winner was seen being congratulated by guests, and led away, while the loser – seemingly upset – received commiserations.

The bride seemed impressed at the wedding warfare, saying to the camera as she sat at the top table: “Did you see that?”

The wedding was believed to have been in the city of Vladikavkaz although it is not clear how the women are known to the newly married couple.
