Martin Millard, fine art director at Cheffins, will be the auctioneer for the Keith Flint collection.

He said: ‘As you’ll see, the Keith Flint collection is an eclectic array containing items reflecting every aspect of the late Keith Flint’s life.

‘From personal items such as his clothing, trainers and hats right through to rather more iconic pieces more representative of his well known stage persona.

‘We’ve got a number of highlights for sale, including his motorcycle leathers and helmets, and I think one of the centrepieces of the whole sale has to be the bed, which is one of the most talked about pieces certainly.

‘It was a commissioned piece some 25 years ago, when Keith worked very closely with Steve Liddard in the design of the bed. It’s magnificent in terms of its scale and its craftmanship, and it’s certainly a one off. I don’t think you’ll ever see another one like it’.
