Plastic surgeon’s wife, 33, dies after suffering cardiac arrest as HUSBAND was performing surgery on her at his clinic | The Sun
A PLASTIC surgeon is under investigation after his wife went into cardiac arrest on his operating table and later died.
Mum-of-three Hillary Brown, 33, suffered the medical emergency as her husband, Dr Ben Brown, 40, performed surgery on her at his Florida clinic on November 21.
Dr Brown called 911 and began performing CPR after she went into cardiac arrest, however she fell into a coma.
A week later, the plastic-surgery loving mother was taken off life support after it was determined she was brain dead.
Dr Ben Brown is now under investigation following his wife's death – he denies wrongdoing.
Emergency call notes indicated a female patient was in cardiac arrest after potentially being "overmedicated", USA today reports.

It is unclear what surgeries Hillary was getting at the time.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jillian Durkin said that police "frequently [conduct] death investigations when the death was unexpected or the death occurs under unusual circumstances."
Durkin added that the cause of Hillary's death has not yet been established and they are awaiting autopsy results which could take several months.
Hillary's devastated parents described her as “full of fire and energy”.

“We want answers,” her father Marty Ellington told USA today. “We haven’t been given answers.
"If it’s a mistake, it was a mistake, but it doesn’t bring my daughter back, you know.
"I don’t want his money. I don’t want anything. All I want is an answer because I think that we owe that to my daughter.”
Ellington has alleged that his daughter was unhappy in her marriage but was reluctant to leave.
"She didn't want to drag the kids through it because she was so giving and caring for her kids," he told Pensacola News Journal.
However, he said his daughter did enjoy being married to an award-winning plastic surgeon that could perform any number of surgeries on her whenever she liked.
"She was gorgeous. We kept telling her, ‘Why are you doing this?" he recalled.
In a social media post written on November 24 while his wife was still in a coma, Dr Brown wrote: “We need prayers for a miracle. Hillary had a cardiac arrest on Tuesday afternoon.
“We called 911 and started CPR. Her heart came back but her brain is not doing well…Hillary Ellington Brown you are my soulmate, my world, my everything. Please come back. Please!”
The couple had been married for two years and Hillary had three young children, aged 4 to 8, from a previous marriage.
Dr Brown's family released a statement this week condemning the allegations against him and stating: "his deep grief and shock is only compounded by many mistruths circulating online and in the media."

“Ben is completely devastated by the sudden loss of his loving wife Hillary, and is desperately trying to understand how to live one day, never mind a lifetime without her by his side," it added.
The surgery he was performing on her was described as "minor and routine" and the statement claimed all proper medical protocols were followed and trained staff had been at the scene.
