Netflix’s Hollywood offices are on lockdown amid reports of active shooter, according to reports.
Employees at Sunset Bronson Studios were not allowed to leave the area but are now being evacuated from the site.
Director and writer David Hayter tweeted: ‘Currently locked down in our offices at due to an active shooter.’
LA police received a ‘second hand’ report of a person with a ‘deadly weapon’, reports say.
KTLA5, which is also on lockdown, reports officers are currently near the Netflix building at the entrance of the lot on Van Ness Avenue.
Eyewitnesses say there four helicopters at the scene and police have stopped traffic on Sunset Blvd. Pictures online show officers with their guns drawn outside the offices of the streaming giant.
Workers are being told to ‘move to interior spaces’ and away from windows.
Netflix said officials ‘received a tip about a potential law enforcement incident. Police are conducting a sweep of the lot out of an abundance of caution. There is no immediate danger or threat to our employees’.
