Mystery romantic begs 'Kathryn' to forgive them with huge Valentine's Day signs
The messages, posted along a busy road, plead: "Kathryn, I was an an idiot. Please forgive me & be my Valentine. I love you".
Motorists couldn't believe their eyes as they spotted the signs, complete with read love hearts, along the Bangor carriageway in Northern Ireland ahead of the romantic day of love.
But it's unclear if the mysterious Kathryn ever got to see the signs as they were pulled down after just a few hours.
One local who snapped the signs told Belfast Live: "I saw them just before 4pm this afternoon, only put it up for a giggle and it went viral pretty quickly.
"Drove past again about 8pm yesterday evening and they were gone, I’m guessing Kathryn wasn’t too happy!"

It is unknown if the lovers made up after the love declaration.
The announcement was met with hilarious reactions online, with one person writing: "Run, Kathryn from Bangor. Run quite fast…"
Another puzzled: "Wonder what he did? Can someone find Kathryn and find out?"
A third added: "Whatever he did in the first place Kathryn, this is 10 times worse. Run!"
