Those hoping for Baby Sussex Two may have to wait a while.

According to a midwifery professor Meghan may have to wait at least a year before having another baby.

Julie Jomeen, who is a professor of midwifery at the University of Hull, said women over 35 should wait at least a year before getting pregnant again.

She advised that older mums who conceived within six months after giving birth had a 1.2 per cent greater risk of maternal mortality than younger mums.

Fans are convinced that Meghan will opt for a cesarean section when the baby comes.

Mums-to-be over the age of 35 – known as “geriatric mums” – are more likely to need a c-section.

One fan said: “Not that 37 is old, but I'm beginning to wonder if Meghan is scheduled for a c-section.”

Sun doctor Carol Cooper told Fabulous Digital that it is more likely Meghan will have opted for a cesarean birth.

Dr Cooper said: “As far as the labour goes, she is only 37 and if you are in your mid-thirties and you are eating healthily, exercising regularly and you are fit and are the right weight as she seems to be, there is no reason why she should have significantly more complications than a younger women.

“But statistically there are higher risks.

“Like higher blood pressure, preeclampsia, diabetes of pregnancy called gestation diabetes, she is more likely to have a premature baby and has a slightly higher risk of a still birth.

“There are also possible chromosome conditions that she is more likely to get.”

A royal expert has warned that Meghan and Harry are in danger of “eclipsing” other members of the royal family.

Royal biographer Katie Nicholl compared the couple to the “phenomenon” of Princess Diana and said that they are already attracting more interest than William and Kate.

She said Diana's high profile had a negative impact on the royals and Meg may be in danger of doing the same.
