London Lumiere festival: City in different light

Organisers say that want viewers to see not just the British capital, but the entire world in a new light.

London’s bleak winter is getting a bright makeover.

Landmarks in the city have been adorned with lights and installations as part of the four-day Lumiere festival.

The works of dozens of British and international artists are also being put on display in some of the capital’s best-known buildings.
