Dog ditches cot to cuddle with owner in bed

Hilarious moment dog owner builds pooch his own bed but the cuddly canine ditches it to snuggle – forcing his DAD to sleep in the cot

One man who got tired of sharing a bed with his dog built his beloved pup his own cot, but the adorable canine refused to stick to his new digs – forcing his owner to sleep on the dog bed. 

Reddit user eightdumplings shared video of himself sleeping throughout the night, showing how his golden retriever hops into the blankets with him and ends up taking over the bed. 

As the night progresses the dog stretches and rolls over, eventually pushing his owner to the side of the wall.

At first the golden retriever seems to love his new bed, before returning to his old sleeping patterns 

Tired of losing his rest, the dog owner decided to build his pooch a bed that would attach to the side of his own. 

He filmed himself building the bed from scratch and setting it up.  

At first the dog loves his new bed and happily sleeps on it. 

But as the night progresses, he creeps back onto his owner’s mattress and starts to cuddle his owner.

Then the golden retriever is back to his old antics, pushing his owner to the side of the wall as he rolls over and sprawls out, taking over the entire queen sized mattress. 

The owner tries to get his dog to sleep in the cot the following evening, and it starts out successfully, before the dog crawls back to the owner’s side on his mattress.  

Finally, the owner decides he’s had enough and moves to sleep on the cot he built for the dog. 

And his loyal pup follows, settling with his head on dad’s body.
