Chilling moment girl, 8, is lured into the clutches of a child-murdering paedo pretending to be a policeman at a bus stop

The convicted killer and sex attacker had only been released from a 20-year jail term in Russia a few days earlier , cops have revealed.

He told the crying girl he was a policeman after approaching her at her school bus stop in Kyzyl, Russia.

The murderer – not named by police – told the child her parents were waiting for her at the police station.

Chilling footage shows how he  grabbed her by the hand and started looking for a place to rape her, said detectives based on his confession.

“The girl began to cry,” reported Plus Inform newspaper citing law enforcement source.

“The accused man failed to calm her and tried to scare her. He hit her in the abdomen with his fist.

“The child began to cry louder. Her cries attracted the attention of a few men (at the filling station).

“One of them reprimanded the accused man, so he fled.”

This saved the girl from an horrific sex attack and possibly murder, according to sources close to the case.

Police were called and rapidly identified the known paedophile and murderer from CCTV footage.

He was detained in the city, which is the capital of the Tyva region in Siberia.

In a law enforcement video, the handcuffed man shows a woman state investigator the crime scene close to the filling station.

“We sat down here, on these very concrete blocks,” he said.

“I tried to calm her, using words, I was not using violence at first on her… So I made her sit here, on these concrete blocks…”

He was detained in May when the incident took place, but details were only revealed now that the case has been passed to a court in Kyzyl.

The man is accused of attempting  to rape the eight year old girl. Under Russian law he can be jailed for up to 20 years if convicted.

The Russian Investigative Committee said he had been released from prison only nine days before he lured the girl away from the bus stop.

He had served 20 years in jail for killing a young girl in 1998.

His previous convictions were for rape and other “violent sexual actions” against a minor aged under 14.
