Amber Alert issued for missing girl, 5, 'snatched by three men in pickup truck' when her stepdad's car stopped on freeway

AN amber alert has been issued for a missing girl, 5, who was "snatched by three men in a pickup truck" when her stepdad's car was stopped on a freeway in Texas.
Maleah Davis is said to have been kidnapped at around 6pm on Saturday, after her stepfather was assaulted on the Southwest Freeway in Houston.
Darion Vence, claimed that he, his one-year-old son and the girl were abducted by three Hispanic men in their 30s who were driving a blue pickup truck.
ABC 13 reports that Vence and his son were then dropped off in the Sugar Land area of Houston, but the abductors drove off with Maleah still in the car.
The three man allegedly got out of their 2010 blue Chevrolet crew cab pickup truck and assaulted Vence when he was pulled over on the highway.
Vence was reportedly unconscious for almost 24 hours after he was attacked.
In a press conference on Saturday afternoon, police said Vence was on his way to pick up Maleah's mother from the airport when he was forced to pull over because his car was making strange noises.
Detective Mark Holbrook said: "He hears a popping noise like he has a flat tire."
Maleah has been described as a three-feet-tall African-American female with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a pink bow in her hair, a light blue zip jacket and grey, white and pink sneakers.
Police, who aren't aware of any motive behind the kidnapping, are investigating and interviewing family members.
Maleah was last seen near the Southwest Freeway and Highway 6 in Sugar Land, Houston.
