Who is Willow on General Hospital?
General Hospital viewers have been wondering about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) since she arrived in Port Charles. She is the grade school teacher dealing with the bullying storyline, but there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.
The connection Willow has to Port Charles doesn’t appear to be superficial. She popped up at just the right time on General Hospital, and with so many storylines going on there are a few places she may fit in without a second glance.
Wiley’s mother
It is almost certain that Willow is the mother who chose to adopt her baby out on General Hospital.
Her little boy was likely the original Wiley, the one who died while with Brad (Parry Shen) at home. Despite Nelle (Chloe Lanier) giving up her son to Brad, the truth about what really happened will come to light.
Michael (Chad Duell) is in the same grief group with Willow and the two seem to be gravitating toward a relationship. If this is the case, surely he will put two and two together with Wiley and her.
Of course, he will then also find out that Jonah is being masqueraded as his uncle’s baby and things will get even more complicated. Michael loved that baby and his “death” has affected him in a way no one saw coming.
Nina’s true daughter
There has been speculation that Willow could be Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) long-lost daughter. General Hospital viewers know that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) isn’t truly her daughter. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has set the whole thing up, and now there are questions about who her real daughter is.
Madeline (Donna Mills) told Valentin that Nina’s baby survived and if it isn’t Sasha, who could it be? Willow fits the bill and there was the dynamic between her and Nina over the bullying from Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) while in her class.
They are not altogether fond of one another and throwing in a twist like a mother-daughter relationship would be a way to spice things up.
At this point, it looks like General Hospital is going to drag out who Willow really is for a while longer. As they test the water with her and Chase (Josh Swickard), viewers are trying to get a better feel for where she will fit in down the road.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
