Vin Diesel, 52, shows off muscular physique as he poses shirtless in a pair of board shorts on the beach

FAST And Furious star Vin Diesel showcased his incredibly muscular physique as he posed for a smouldering shirtless snap on Instagram on today.

The 52-year-old actor displayed his gym-honed abs abs, while posing in a pair of cream board shorts which highlighted his Barca BC, the name of a video game he launched in 2011, underwear.

Staring into the distance, he held onto a surfboard as he captioned the snap: "We will find a way, or we will make one… Barca BC #hannibalbarcatrilogy."

Once again, the movie star, who's real name is Mark Sinclair, appeared to be teasing his next cinematic project, Hannibal The Conqueror.

Vin confirmed in July that plans were underway for his to take on the trilogy about the Carthaginian military commander.

Speaking to Comicbook.com, the action star said he wanted to play Hannibal, who led an army complete with elephants across the Alps to go to war with Rome in 218BC, for more than a decade.

Aside from his new cinematic endeavours, the actor was busy shooting Fast And Furious 9 in the UK last year.

In September, photos emerged of the star, who plays street racer Dominic Toretto, bringing Edinburgh's Royal Mile to a standstill as he filmed a heart-racing car chase.

At the time, it was reported that the production shut down more than 20 streets in the Scottish capital in order to shoot their high-octane driving sequences.

According to the Edinburgh Evening News, the action-packed shoot closed dozens of streets in the city's old town with half of the closures set to affect traffic by the University of Edinburgh.

The film, which is set for release on May 22, 2020, also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Game Of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel.

In early 2019, it was announced that John Cena had joined the Fast and Furious cast. Although there's no word on his character, a press release stated he was "a bada**."

The WWE star follows in the footsteps of wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who first appeared in 2011's Fast Five and became a major component of the series.

The Rock has gone on and appeared in a spin-off of the main franchise with Jason Statham called Hobbs & Shaw.

Meanwhile, the production of Fast And Furious 9 hasn't been without it's challenges after Vin's stunt double Joe Watts plunged 30ft onto his head on the set of the film back in July.

The stunt performer, 31, was placed in an induced coma after the incident at the Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.

Filming was halted after a safety cable reportedly snapped as he jumped off a balcony on set and hit the ground.
