Trigger Point viewers call out BIG problem with 'traumatic' Vicky McClure sex scene

TRIGGER Point viewers were in for a shock during Sunday night’s episode – and some weren’t happy about one fine detail.

In the explosive episode of the ITV drama, bomb disposal expert Lana Washington – played by Vicky McClure – was told by her superiors that her brother was a terrorist suspect.

During a surveillance call between Lana and Billy, in which she intended to lure him to the police station, it became clear that he had been targeted as he discovered an explosive device rigged up to his car.

Lana was then able to direct her brother to a nearby field as she inspected the bomb in his car.

However, after she mistakenly believed a timer attached to the explosive was a trap and not real, Billy was used as an unwitting suicide bomber.

Instead of Lana mourning her brother’s horrific death, viewers were appalled to see her cheat on her boyfriend and have sex just moments later.

As a result, viewers couldn’t help but point out how unrealistic the scene was, with many slamming the show in the process.

Alongside a confused face emoji, one person penned: “Brother has just been blown up, but let’s have a s**g. Seems legit.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Just seen brother blown to bits. What should I do? Go and have sex and cheat on my boyfriend.”

While a third commented: “Well, she just had PTSD sex. Make it make sense.”

Other fans of the show couldn't help but point out an uncanny resemblance between Billy and a rather famous fictional character.
