Tragedy at the prom in Hollyoaks as Ella collapses in arms of her 'dad'

Ella Richardson’s (Erin Palmer) life hangs in the balance in Hollyoaks after she collapsed in the arms of Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), the man she reckons might be her dad, following a booze binge.

The teen’s world was turned upside down on the evening of prom after former flame Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan), who she slept with twice this week, told her that he didn’t want them to give things another go.

In fact, Charlie wanted to make things with work with girlfriend Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip), who ultimately overheard the conversation and, much like Ella, was left heartbroken.

While Charlie tried to do some damage control and make things right with Shing Lin, Ella proceeded to get drunk, drinking from a bottle of vodka which she’d intended to share with her friends at prom.

After downing the entire bottle, she stumbled towards the garage, where Warren, who was locking up at the time, spotted her and raced over, evidently concerned for her well-being.

Upon realising that she’d drank the whole bottle of booze, the hard-man’s face paled, knowing that he needed to get help for Ella, who told him that they’re very much the same.

Warren was confused, unaware of the teen’s theory that he’s her biological father, but before he could press her further on the matter, Ella collapsed in his arms.

‘Help!’, screamed the gangster, before urging Ella to stay with him. The question is: will Ella be okay?

Metro.co.uk can confirm that she will be fine, with subsequent scenes set to air next week seeing the school girl discuss with Leah Barnes (Ela-May Demircan) how she thinks Warren might be her dad.

Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) overhears, shocked at just how much she’s dealing with, but will he be able to offer any words of wisdom?

And what will Warren make of Ella’s theory that he might be her father?
