This Morning U-turn as axed host could return in bid to see ‘familiar face’
ITV bosses are said to be looking for more familiar faces to take the reins back on This Morning.
The show, which was previously led by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby together for over a decade, was thrown into chaos after reports of a feud between Phil and Holly.

After further information came out which saw Phil confirm a relationship with a younger staff member, Phil has permanently severed ties with ITV and will not be returning to the famous sofa.
In the meantime, bosses are working on a rotation of hosts – but their next choice for a permanent person is a familiar face.
According to Bella Magazine, bosses are finding that Ruth Langsford is a firm favourite for the spot on the show.
They added: "The idea is that the show is desperate to reassure viewers that it's a family operation and the more familiar faces there are, the better."
Ruth's return would be great news for a lot of fans who were really sad to see her go after it was confirmed that she wouldn't be continuing the show in 2022.
Instead, Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes' Friday show was replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond's gig.
Alison and Dermot still continue to lead the Friday shows, but the mid-week episodes sees Holly welcome a rotation of different co-hosts.
While the TV star is currently off on her summer break, it was reported by Daily Mail that she was set to sign a new contract alongside a rotation of guests.
Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Alison and Dermot have all been stepping in to help Holly with her hosting duties since Phil's exit.
He confirmed the news at the end of May, writing: "I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future."
Phil then thanked those who had shown him support as he stepped down from his role.
He later confirmed he would be stepping down from all roles with ITV after confirming his relationship with a younger employee at This Morning.
