A CONTESTANT on The Chase left viewers baffled by her 'weird' plans for any winnings.

In the latest episode of the ITV quiz, Bradley Walsh met four new players ready to take on a Chaser and try and win big.

One of the contestants was Hannah, who caught viewers' attention with her bright pink/purple hair.

Hannah told Bradley, 62, she worked for the Alzheimer's Society but had big plans for her future if she won a lot of money on The Chase.

She revealed: "I'm absolutely obsessed with cats.

"So if I win big, depending how big, I’d love to run a cat café."

Another tweeted alongside a gif of a woman overrun by cats: "Hannah’s cat café."

A third added: "What the heck is a cat café?? What a weird concept!”

However, someone who had more knowledge of cat cafes – which exist in many towns around the UK – said: "Hope some people realise the work that goes into running a cat cafe.

"You'll have to make sure that they're up on the injections, make sure they're all friendly with each other and cleaning the litter tray every day. Man they stink after a bit."

Hannah got off to a good start, bringing £5,000 to the table after her Cash Builder.

She then faced Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty and survived, making it back to her seat and the Final Chase.

The four contestants took a respectable £24,000 into the final round, but sadly Anne found her form and caught them, sending them home with nothing and putting Hannah's plans cat cafe plans on hold.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
