Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer airs concern as Tim Lovejoy admits ‘I’m not alright
Simon asks if Tim is ‘okay’ after coughing
Introducing the Sunday Brunch’s ‘mystery banana’ segment, Tim Lovejoy played a clip to reveal where the fruit was hiding the week before.
However, it was clear he was trying to hold back a cough as he struggled to carry on his sentence.
Letting out a few coughs, he managed to continue but it was apparent he was having a hard time.
“You win absolutely nothing, there’s no point in doing it at all-”, Tim said but was unable to finish his sentence as he started coughing.
Simon commented: “No prize this week? Are you alright? Do you want a little glass of water?”
As he continued to stifle a cough he agreed to his co-star’s offer and took a swig from his mug.
Although Simon asked if he was again once more before continuing, Tim tried to carry the segment on by questioning what food he was making for their guests.
Introducing his fish soup, Tim continued to cough as his co-star was informing viewers how to make the dish.
With Tim’s cough becoming increasingly worse, Simon asked: “Are you alright now?”
He replied: “I’m not no! I’m going to blame hayfever.”

Carrying on chopping his food, Simon responded: “Yup, right okay, blame that.”
Luckily, the cough seemed to subside as Tim managed to finish making his fish soup without any further disruption.
However, it seemed as though viewers watching weren’t impressed with the unusual Father’s Day dish.
