Sister Wives team confirms show future after Kody’s three divorces
Sister Wives: Kody and Janelle disagree about their sons
Sister Wives will continue for a long time to come – despite Kody Brown splitting from three of his four wives.
When the show first launched in 2010, Kody, his wives Meri, Janelle and Christine, as well as their 18, children opened the doors to their world.
Their family expanded with the introduction of fourth wife Robyn in 2014, but cracks in the set-up soon followed.
Now, Kody only remains in a relationship with Robyn – prompting fears the series could be axed as the Sister Wives go their separate ways.
However, in a new interview, showrunner Chris Poole has assured fans they aren’t going anywhere, with the family still continuing to function as a unit.

Ahead of season 18, Poole insists there’s still life in the family, as they try to establish a new dynamic following Christine’s split from Kody in November 2021, and Janelle announcing she was separated from Kody in December 2022.
Meri left the patriarch by the end of 2022 as well.
“Christine leaving the family was a massive event that really shook up the entire family. But we’ve shot quite a bit of footage since then,” Poole told Variety.
“It continues to be just as interesting and dramatic because, as much as Christine’s left, Kody is still the father of her children. They still have to interact and figure that out.”

Since breaking up, all the wives have moved around the country, making it difficult to unite them for filming, but Poole assured that “nobody’s disappearing from the show” as they move on.
As such, no spin-offs are officially in the works, with their new journeys instead being folded into what’s going on in Sister Wives.
With that in mind, Sister Wives could be continuing for a while.
“There’s always something going on,” he said. “I am confident there’s always going to be something going on, because they are who they are.”
In the time since their split from Kody, both Janelle and Christine have been tracking what they’ve been up to on social media.
Janelle has been praised as an “inspiration” after focusing on her health and wellbeing, losing 100lbs after going to the gym and eating healthier.
Christine has found a new love in the shape of contractor David Woolley, with the couple making their romance official on Valentine’s Day 2023.
Just two months later, they couple confirmed their engagement, with Christine proudly declaring Woolley her “soulmate”.
However, the happy news hasn’t gone down too well within the family.
It’s been claimed Janelle fears she’s “moving too fast” with a new marriage so quickly after getting together.
Christine’s son Paedon, 25, also reportedly doesn’t approve.
The source told The US Sun: “All of Christine’s kids have been super supportive, except for Paedon.
“Paedon never supports this kind of stuff. He doesn’t support much of anything, so it’s not surprising.”
Sister Wives is available on TLC.
