Rhona drops a bombshell on Marlon in Emmerdale that leaves him terrified
Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) has been caught in the middle of Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), Mary (Louise Jameson) and Paddy Kirk’s (Dominic Brunt) fears in Emmerdale.
Over the past week, Mary, Marlon and Paddy have all discussed something on their mind that’s been worrying them.
For Mary, it was the prospect of getting back into the dating world after the ordeal involving Faye. She ended up lying to her family about having a date and was then found on a country road by Paddy, who listened as Mary said that being vulnerable with Faye – her first girlfriend since coming out – and then having the relationship destroyed has broken her.

For Marlon, the focus has been on him driving a specially adapted car after his stroke. Marlon has been terrified about getting behind the wheel again, admitting to the likes of Rhona and Mary that he could have another stroke while in the car, increasing the chance of putting other people in danger.
And for Paddy, he opened up to Mary about the death of his baby daughter Grace. He said that after his suicide attempt the one thing he hasn’t done is visit the grave of Grace, who died the same day she was born. He was scared of being engulfed by the emotions that visiting the grave would bring up in him so he was avoiding it.
The one person who hasn’t experienced anything that scares her is Rhona, who has acted as a pillar of support for her friends and family instead.
Being the empathetic person she is, Rhona was also feeling Mary, Marlon and Paddy’s emotions, which started having an impact on her tonight.
In the pub, she told the trio that from tomorrow, they will stop with the ‘fake it till you make it’ approach and instead will face their fears.
So, how will it go?
