Oscars 2020 date, time, host, full list of nominations for Academy Awards

Who could forget last year's Oscars ceremony?

From Olivia Colman's hilariously relatable speech to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper delivering that spine-tingling musical performance, there was no shortage of memorable moments at the Oscars 2019.

However, the Oscars 2020 could prove to be just as memorable as the best and brightest of Hollywood come out to celebrate the most popular cinema of the last year.

There has been some controversy with the nominations, however, with a number of snubs and a lack of female directors being nominated for Best Director.

Yet, as the night approaches, there will be much interest to see who takes home the biggest prizes.

Here is what you need to know about the 92nd Academy Awards.

Oscars 2020 date and time

The Oscars 2020 will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Dolby Theatre, Hollywood, Los Angeles.

This means it will be shown in the UK in the early hours of Monday, February 10, 2020.

Sky Cinema Oscars is the place to catch the ceremony in the UK and will be available through the Sky Cinema package and with a Cinema Pass on Now TV.

Oscars 2020 host

As with last year, there will be no host for the 2020 Oscars.

However, there will still be a mix of performances, big stars presenting awards, and some other surprise appearances.
