No Time to Die: Royal family arrive at Bond movie premiere
No Time To Die is on ITV2 this evening over two years after Daniel Craig’s fifth and final James Bond movie hit cinemas.
The star famously went out with a bang, killing off Ian Fleming’s character for the first time ever.
Nevertheless, the end credits promised that James Bond will return.
Of course, it’ll be a total reboot set in another universe as though the Craig movies never happened.
As for who could be cast as the seventh official Bond, there are four frontrunners according to Oddschecker.

Of course, take it all with a pinch of salt but at 3-1 is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who has very much been the favourite to bag the role of Bond for months.
Not only is he the right age being in his early 30s but he’s proven his action chops in films like Kick-Ass and Bullet Train.
The Kraven the Hunter star played it rather coy in interviews on the matter amid rumours he’s had secret talks for the role.

Just behind him on 4-1 is Henry Cavill, who was runner-up to Craig in the 2005 Casino Royale auditions, but may be too old now given he’s hit 40.
Meanwhile joint on 5-1 are James Norton and Regé-Jean Page, who also have fan support for the part.
Given the gap between the end of Pierce Brosnan’s era and the start of Craig’s reboot, our best bet is that the new Bond will be announced in late 2024 for release in late 2025.
