New killer in Emmerdale replaces Meena after dangerous newcomer confirmed?

Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) is behind bars after committing a series of terrible crimes in the Emmerdale village, but do we have another villain on our hands already?

Victor (Eddie Osei) has just been released after 25 years behind bars and met up with his son, Charles (Kevin Mathurin) outside the prison last night.

The dynamic between the father and son was tense. Charles made it clear that he didn’t want Victor anywhere near his family, and the newcomer alluded to something dark happening in their past.

It was all mysterious and intriguing and tonight, Victor ignored Charles’ wishes and made his way to the Dales.

He interrupted Charles and Claudette (Flo Wilson) chatting outside the church. Victor attempted to be friendly, but Claudette was visibly shaken by the sight of him and ran off, later comforted by Mary (Louise Jameson) in the café.

The instalment didn’t allow us to learn a great deal about Victor but during Mary and Claudette’s chat in the café, the former journalist tried to find out why Victor was behind bars.

Claudette confirmed that her husband was never violent to her, and Mary alluded to the fact when someone is behind bars for 25 years, it narrows the type of crime committed down to just a few – but was it murder?

Back on the street, an angry Charles attempted to tell Victor that he wasn’t welcome in the village, but their confrontation was interrupted by Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) and Naomi (Karene Peter), who were intrigued as to why Charles hadn’t mentioned his dad before.

As Naomi and Manpreet left, it seemed as though Charles had been successful in telling his dad to leave, but with this storyline only just beginning, Victor definitely isn’t going anywhere just yet.

So, who is he?

Was he behind bars for murder, and does that leave the Emmerdale village in serious danger?

We’ve only just gotten over Meena murdering Leanna, Ben and Andrea…so what trouble is Victor going to bring?
