Love Island's Kem Cetinay will be new Dancing On Ice reporter replacing Jordan Banjo backstage

The Love Island star, 22, is set to take over online reporting duties from Jordan Banjo, who presented the backstage rink segment last year.

The reality star made it to the semi-finals earlier this year with skating partner Alex Murphy and will now be on the other side of the rink to get all the behind-the-scenes gossip.

In October, The Sun Online revealed that the ITV favourite was undergoing a massive shake-up for the upcoming series – as they scrapped the backstage rink with Jordan and replaced "at least three or four" professional skaters with new faces.

The show will also see Torvill and Dean return to the ice to perform for fans.

Insiders told The Sun Online at the time that while popular judge Ashley Banjo will return, his brother Jordan won’t present the backstage rink segment despite being a huge hit with viewers.

"Jordan was brilliant, but there have been changes to his schedule that mean he’s unavailable to film next year, so he’ll be axed from the format," said the source.

"There will be a lot of new faces on the ice, too. Ale Izquierdo, who skated with Max Evans in this year's show, won't return, neither will Melody Le Moal, who was partnered with Lemar.

"Show bosses are bringing in new professionals to shake things up."

Dancing On Ice recently announced the full line-up of celebrity skaters including Gemma Collins, Love Island's Wes Nelson, X Factor star Saara Alto, Neighbours actor Mark Little and former Strictly pro James Jordan.

Karen Barber will return as head coach, with Jason Gardiner on the judging panel, as well as Torvill and Dean.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will also return to present the show.
